Art Classes!


A Course in the Science and Psychology of Art

Victoria Perkins (local artist and owner of Oddworld Art Studio) will be teaching art classes at Art Zone 208, where you will learn:

  • -Basic Principles of Art and Drawing Techniques
  • -How science can help you with shading and coloration
  • -How to create balanced composition and harmonious color
  • -The “Artist Consciousness” and how art affects your psychology
  • -How to create an emotional and intellectual impact with your art

Courses will begin at Art Zone 208 on April 7th at 11:00 AM

Lessons will be from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM every Tuesday

This 10 week course is for young artists ages 13-17, with $30 a month per student for homeschoolers, $60 a month per student for public schoolers; a great value for anyone just starting out or wanting to brush up on their art skills!

About The Teacher


 Victoria Perkins started working as a professional artist and graphic designer at the age of 16, but has been drawing and creating her entire life. She has done concept art and storyboards for local filmmakers, worked as a concept artist/graphic designer at a multimedia company, and has had galleries of her work at the Garden City Library. Her primary mediums are pen, pencil and creating artwork with her tablet on Photoshop CS6. You can see some of her artwork on her website or Facebook page.
